How To Boost Your Nitric Oxide Levels

Nitric Oxide is sometimes called the “Miracle Molecule” because of its powerful effects in the body. We get it naturally from vegetables, but most of us don’t eat enough vegetables for optimal health.

Watch today’s short video interview as we discuss a super easy way to ramp up your vegetables and give your body a boost of nitric oxide.

The Healthy Green Drink

“I think you will find these drinks will increase your energy, effectiveness and perhaps add quality to your personal evening.

One of the greatest blessings in my life is that I get to work closely with amazing staff and holistic practitioners to discover non-pharmalogical approaches to better health. For the last month a MD colleague who has amazing skin, health, and energy has been making an 8 ounce green drink in the afternoon and shares the info with me. Of course, I am a big fan of alkalizing the body with fruits, vegetables and supplements.NitroGreens

Here’s how she makes her afternoon green drink. She uses a NutriBullet blender, fills half of it with prewashed organic greens, usually a mixture of dark greens like kale and spinach. She adds one medium size carrot, a stalk of celery, one and a half cups of water or almond milk, 1/2 of a frozen banana, and 1-2 scoops of an organic green supplement called NitroGreens. One scoop for one person and 2 scoops for 2 people.

She feels that the right amount of water is important. If it’s too thin it doesn’t have that satiety factor. Everyone has their own thickness preference. Sometimes she will add a tablespoon of Mixed EFAs which is an oil blend from sesame seeds, walnuts, hazelnuts and apricots. Sometimes, she adds a couple of scoops of isolated whey protein, but always a few veggies and the NitroGreens.

Now here’s what is interesting. I have a pretty clean diet. I eat well and take the appropriate supplements. So, I feel really good most of the time. But after two or 3 weeks of those afternoon veggie cocktails, I began to notice a subtle shift in energy, mood and mental clarity. It didn’t WOW me, but now I get really perky when I hear that blender going because I feel a difference when I drink the drinks.

You can make your own green drinks with ingredients from your local grocer and by adding NitroGreens. NitroGreens is made from organic heirloom seeds. Some are sprouted like kale, broccoli and cauliflower. The grass seeds like barley, wheat, kamut, oat and alfalfa are grown and then juiced. Also, beets and carrots are grown and juiced. The grasses are harvested early to make sure they are gluten free, non GMO and pesticide free.

Dr. Abbas Qutab designed NitroGreens to increase nitric oxide naturally. Dr. Qutab understands the value of organic greens as detoxifiers and metal chelators. NitroGreens mixed alone may be a little strong for some people but by cutting the dose and by adding fruits and vegetables it goes to a whole new level.

NitroGreensThe list of drinks is endless based on your taste and the availability of fruits and veggies in season. Some people have added organic nut butters, avocado, even organic chocolate to the vegetable cocktails for variety. For simplicity, I add one scoop of NitroGreens to organic vanilla flavored almond milk with one organic banana in the NutriBullet.

I think you will find these drinks will increase your energy, effectiveness and perhaps add quality to your personal evening. I know when I am less stressed either physically or emotionally, my personal times at home are more vibrant. When I get overwhelmed at whatever the task and don’t eat right, my evenings seem shorter.

You can purchase NitroGreens through Dr. Godo’s office or at the website below. Give NitroGreens a try, and begin to develop your own favorite blends. Find your favorite ingredients and every afternoon you will look forward to hearing the sound of the blender too.

NitroGreens…A Great Way to go “Green”

“I like keeping NitroGreens in my cabinet for those days when getting 10 servings of fruits and vegetables is impractical.”

What are a few basic things everybody can do every day to have healthy cells? If your cells are healthy, your whole body is healthy.

Here are some of the things I do. I make sure I have good sources of basic minerals, which most people are deficient in; for example, I use unrefined Celtic sea salt and Iodine. I use a bioavailable form of vitamin D and a full spectrum vitamin/mineral. I also supplement essential fatty acids. I try to eat 10 servings of fruits and vegetables every day and drink at least 8 glasses of pure water.

If we can eat 10 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, we increase the phytonutrients we get from plants. One of the greatest benefits we get from plants is the natural buffers that alkalize an acidic system. pH is a unit that measures the concentration of hydrogen ions. Distilled water has a pH of 7 and is considered neutral. A true acidic condition is defined as a pH under 7.0, which is a serious life threatening situation. Optimal blood pH is 7.345 – 7.45. If our pH goes below the optimal levels, it moves into what I call “relative acidity.” Very slight changes in pH have profound effects on our health.

What’s interesting is that if our pH is not in the optimal range, things don’t work right even if we have all the ingredients to make them work correctly. For example, if our pH is in the “relative acidic range,” enzymes don’t work properly.

Oxygen can’t be released at the cellular level even if our red blood cells are carrying the right amounts of oxygen. Cell membranes become rigid, and nutrients become depleted because they can’t get into the cell. So the proper pH is very important.

The standard American diet is not pH friendly. Meats, grains, sugar, fluoridated and chlorinated water all contribute to “relative acidic chemistry.” Here’s the good news. Fruits and vegetables, especially green foods, alkalize the system by increasing natural buffers. If consuming 10 servings of fruits and veggies are difficult, that’s when I suggest a green drink like NitroGreens.

What’s nice about NitroGreens is that it’s completely organic and is grown from heirloom seeds. It is a combination of organic grasses, juices, berry extracts, and sprouts. Grasses also provide a great source of trace minerals. Speaking of minerals, it took Biotics Research, the makers of NitroGreens, 2 years to find raw materials that were free of contaminates.

Recently consumer labs have identified several green drinks that contain the heavy metals lead and cadmium. It’s important to know which manufacturer of organic products you can trust. Among certified organic raw materials Biotics Laboratory found heavy metals, pesticides, and oxidized denatured plants. Testing revealed many of the green drinks on the market were already oxidized. Hey, we are dealing with food; and if not handled properly, it can go bad. By drying it at elevated temperatures, transporting it in the wrong vehicles, or improperly storing raw materials, suppliers can destroy enzymes and make a good food not so good.

The type of due diligence in raw materials displayed by Biotics Research is unrivalled in the nutrient industry today. The “Nitro” part of NitroGreens reminds us of Nitric Oxide. I interviewed Dr. Abbas Qutab, a prominent and respected doctor. He commented that “over 76,000 papers have been written about Nitric Oxide since 1998.” “Nitric Oxide helps to maintain, defend, and repair every cell in the body.” Dr. Qutab explained that the ingredients in NitroGreens naturally increase Nitric Oxide.

I like keeping NitroGreens in my cabinet for those days when getting 10 servings of fruits and vegetables is impractical. It takes a lot of time to clean and prepare veggies; it’s nice to have a quick option. Mid-afternoon, instead of reaching for that cup of coffee, try using a scoop of NitroGreens in some almond or coconut milk. You can have a refreshing drink that enhances the life quotients in your body, instead of depleting them.

Ask Dr. Godo about NitroGreens, recipes for green drinks, and other benefits. Try adding NitroGreens to your cabinet so that every day you can do those basic things that defend, repair, and build healthy cells.
